DIY WALL DECOR- Altered wooden spatula

welcome to my blog, My name is shraddha sharma, I am from India, Delhi. I made this Altered wooden spatula , I used  wooden spatula , wooden mini frame, wooden charms, die cuts, laces, flowers, texture paste, sprays, acrylic etc

I made this project as craft enthusiast at PRIKA for may month.

step by step tutorial

first , take the wooden spatula and cover it with white gesso.

as shown in above picture, make the mini book with the help of old novel pages.

use another wooden frame and apply white gesso , paste your mini book over the frame and paste the frame on the end of spatula. use texture paste and apply with the help of net sheet or stencils.

use sprays and acrylic paints to color it. if you want to put more 3d look you can roll some pages of the mini book.

decorate it with flowers, die cuts , wooden charms, laces etc.

Altered shoe

Its my first DT project for  Bleeding Art Blog  I made Altered Art Project for them. I used all wooden and metal charms to decor the piece. Few mulberry flowers and embellishments as well. I hope you like it,  Don't forget to participate in May challenge of bleeding art blog.

Altered boat

Welcome to my blog, My name is shraddha , I am from India and  today I  am sharing my  altered boat , Life is a beautiful journey, right now we all are sailing in the same boat.  Inspite of  darkness around us , we are not giving up , we are still sailing and we will reach to our destiny. we are positive about it . welcome to my blog, I am Shraddha from India. Today, I have posted this altered art. I portrayed women and a bird in the violin art. As the title says, ''we listen to them everyday'', which means our morning starts with listening to melodious chirping of beautiful birds everyday.

Being a women, I portrayed women who is listening to beautiful chirping of birds. Bird is in my art , who is chirping and flying happily. Last not the least violin , it talks about the music which we listen everyday. Its beautiful, melodious and most importantly, it is soothing to our ears. It makes our day happy.

I showed in my project that love is so powerful that, Everyday, both the couple and lovebirds are  falling in love for their partners.
